Differentialweighingsavescustomerstimebyeliminatingthe

needtoweigheachmailpieceandparcelindividually!Simply

placeallmailonthescaleatonce,thenremoveeachpiece,oneat

atime,andrunitthroughthesystem.Thesystemautomatically

calculatesthepostageforeachpieceof

mailasitisremovedfrom

thescale,calculatesthe“difference”inweight,andprintsiton

thepieceasitfeedsthroughthesystem.

Forlargerpiecesofmail(largeenvelopesorpackages),differential

weighingcanbesetuptoautomaticallyprintatapeeverytime

youremoveapiece

ofmailfromthescale.Withdifferential

weighing,customerscanreceivethebenefitsofmoreefficientrun

timeandimprovedproductivity.



1. Removeanyitemsthatmaybeonthescale.

2. PresstheModeKeythenselectWeighingOptions.

3. SelectDifferentialWeighing.Thesystempromptsyoutoplace

themailonthescale.

4. Onceyouplacemailonthescale,thesystemdisplaysthe

followingprompt:Printtapesautomatically

OnorOff

- IfyouselectOn,thenwhenyouremoveeachpieceofmail,

thesystemautomaticallyprintsatape.

- IfyouselectOff,youremovethefirstpieceofmailandplace

itonthefeeddeck.PresstheStartKey,ifnecessary.

5. Beginremoving

eachpieceofmail,oneattimeuntilyouhave

processedallyourmail.

6. Whenyouremovethelastitemfromthescale,thesystemasks

youifyouwanttoprintpostage.Thisisincasethelastpiece

youremovefromthescaleisthecontainerforthe

mail.


